About
​Hornsey Pétanque Club (HPC) is based in Hornsey, North London. We love playing pétanque and we'd like to engage more people in playing the game which is simple, easy-to-learn and enjoyed by millions of people worldwide.
The club is run by the members, for the members. We operate through volunteers and good will, and we are committed to building a diverse membership that reflects the community we are proud to live in. Both courts we play are fully accessible to all.

Through the simple pleasure of playing pétanque, the club aims to build an ethos of friendship, mutual respect and support among our members, and so to strengthen social bonds in our community.
We know this is even more important given the challenges we have all faced in recent years.
We are affiliated to Pétanque England, the sport’s governing body. This membership brings with it a number of benefits including insurance, access to competitions and coaching.
